In 2027, Martin Margiela will turn 70. That would be the perfect time to present a tribute.
A “Tribute to Martin Margiela” jacket will be released (2027) in five sizes, as a unisex design that men can wear too. It will be available in 16 oz Japanese denim and black horsehide leather in a limited production run.
Since the 1990s, I have been fascinated by Martin Margiela’s “Flat Pattern Jacket.” I see it as more of a testament to the spirit of the times, and a passion project.
