THE MAKING OF A STORY II
The shoot was held in an old metal-working shop outside Munich, 130 years old. It was kind of hard to convince people that shooting wedding dresses in a grimy workshop was a good idea – but when people saw the photos they saw exactly what we’d been trying to achieve. A heady blend of mood and strong light, hard and soft, dark and still darker…and the large lamp positioned under the dress really made that princess glow. The neighborhood kids carried on playing around us as we were shooting – maybe, just maybe, we influenced them to dream of becoming models in the future…
