BERLIN CI 2009

HORT Design Studio, Berlin, will design the 2009 hamansutra CI. Specialists in creative information and known for their dynamic, experimental approach to projects of any caliber, HORT has produced graphic design work for major companies such as Nike, Volkswagen and The New York Times, but also works with smaller brands and collaborates with other design disciplines.

HELLO FROM AMSTERDAM

Hamansutra is featured and interviewed in Code Magazine. The Magazine will be published soon in the Netherlands. The Code interview spans a whole range of aspects from achieving success as a young entrepreneur (You don t seem to believe in success by pure chance…) to more personal issues like the background to hamansutra s recent move from Munich to New York.

A Making Of the dress

A Making Of story in pictures: the production of the wedding dresses, featuring unique shots of the design and manufacturing process at the heart of the hamansutra studio. Fine craftsmanship is like meditation – sitting at my sewing machine gives me a feeling of complete freedom. Our photographic and art direction team at Backstage (shoot location) were their usual crazy selves, buzzing with motivation, and we were lucky to have a model who was as wild as the team. The label aimed to present clothes as artistic objects rather than commodities, regarding fashion as part of an overall concept, the ceremony of clothing oneself. >>PHOTOS
